Simultaneously with the conference, exhibitions will be held at the Lima Park Hotel Conference Hall. This will mainly showcase bee-related products, equipment and companies of BEENET members.

Several competitions will also be featured such as poster making, photo, and essay contests. The highlight of these contests is the Honey Challenge. In this challenge, honey will be judged based on taste, color, viscosity, and presentation, among other criteria. If you wish to join this, please bring a bottle of your best honey. Only one entry from a meliponary or apiary is allowed per category (stingless honey, mellifera honey, cerana honey, wild honey). There will also be a bee beard contest.

As preparation for the celebration of the 25th Anniversary of BEENET to be held on 2021, the conference organizers are opening the contest for the BEENET Hymn. This is open to all. The hymn should be a little upbeat like the bees. It should not be more than 90 seconds.
